About Patrick Ledwell

Born and raised in PEI, Patrick Ledwell draws on his experiences growing up in a big Island family and the funny trials of staying true to these roots.

His smart, warm-hearted comedy has won him praise for performances on national CBC Radio programs: "The Debaters," "Laugh Out Loud," and "Madly Off In All Directions." He has appeared at the Halifax Comedy Festival, the Island Stand-up Showcase, and the Off-Centre Comedy Festival at the Confederation Centre.

In 2009 and 2010, Patrick wrote and co-starred (with Tanya Davis) in the hit summer variety show: "The New Potato-Time Review," at the Victoria Playhouse in PEI.

His syndicated radio commentaries are heard every two weeks, on CBC morning and afternoon shows across Canada.

Patrick lives in Charlottetown, with his wife Tara.
