About Patrick Ledwell

Born and raised in PEI, Patrick Ledwell draws on his experiences growing up in a big Island family and the funny trials of staying true to these roots.

His smart, warm-hearted comedy has won him praise for performances on national CBC Radio programs: "Laugh Out Loud" and "Madly Off In All Directions." He has appeared at the Halifax Comedy Festival, the Island Stand-up Showcase, the Off-Centre Comedy Festival and the Island Story Telling Festival.

In 2009, Patrick wrote and co-starred (with Tanya Davis) in the hit summer variety show: "The New Potato-Time Review," at the Victoria Playhouse in PEI.

His humourous commentaries are heard on CBC Radio morning and afternoon shows across Canada.

Patrick lives in Charlottetown where he often gets recognized on the street as "that guy" from the safe driving commercial.
